Before each issue arrives at your mailbox or appears online, it undergoes many behind-the-scenes steps. Articles and parts listings require writing, editing, gathering and selecting photos, multiple page proofs, and more – all of which take considerable time and effort.
Far behind the scenes lies a critical role – that of Copy Editor. At its most basic, the Copy Editor assures that the magazine’s grammar, syntax and punctuation meet publishing standards. Occasionally, you find someone who goes above and beyond. For the past 12 issues we have benefitted from the rigorously applied expertise of Erin Menut, who will step down from her role after the present issue.
Erin has a wide portfolio of knowledge and talents, expressed through her work at her business, Sunnybrook Wellness, in Westford, VT, as well as her academic studies and Master’s degree from the University of Vermont. Erin relocated to her hometown to be closer to her family and opened her new Pilates Reformer studio in 2022. She noted, “My passion is helping people feel good in their bodies and minds through Pilates Reformer and wellness coaching.”
Erin wrote Rovers North to say, “I wanted to let you know personally how much I appreciate the opportunity that you gave to me to work for Rovers North. Editing the magazine has given me a glimpse into a world of fun and adventure that I would not have otherwise had. I always finish the issue dreaming of one day owning a Land Rover for myself and traveling with the kids.”
We hope that a Land Rover enters your future life because we consider you to be Fabulously British.
