Zack Griswold, Burlington, VT, joined Rovers North in 2011 to engage in his first passion — photography — becoming the staff photographer. Fortunately, he quickly uncovered a second passion — Land Rovers.
Within a year, Zack became a member of the very knowledgeable sales team, and in 2022, Rovers North’s Sales Manager. His infectious delight with his Land Rovers, his adventures and his Newfies elevated his standing in the national Land Rover community. We’ve come to rely on his deep knowledge of all things Land Rover as much as we do his humor, incisive commentary and willingness to blaze trails in his Defenders, Discoverys and Range Rovers.
Adventure journalist Jayme Moye (Outside, National Geographic, Condé Nast Traveler) met Zack a couple of years ago off-roading. The experience moved her to write:
“It’s not uncommon to see a Landy do what a Landy does best – in the jungle, in the desert, or straight through a stream — even after multiple decades of use (and abuse). Zack told me, ‘I have people call up who have had the same Series vehicle of 40 years. And they’ve been driving it for that long as well — which is insane. Land Rovers have so much personality. They’re quirky, just like their owners, and they grow on you”.
“Zack would know,” Jayme wrote, “as he works at Rovers North, America’s closest thing to a Land Rover dynasty. The Vermont-based, employee-owned business has been supplying Land Rover parts, accessories and knowledge since 1979 and has a unique relationship with Land Rover in that they deal directly with the mother ship in the UK.”
“Rovers aren’t just vehicles; they’re drivers of culture, with an archipelago of clubs, the publication Rovers Magazine, and events all over the US.” Zack serves and represents the Land Rover community so very well; on March 17, he and his wife Elizabeth welcomed their first child, Jackson, who will likely soon have a Land Rover of his own.
Land Rover enthusiast, passionate off-roader, brilliant photographer, Newfie lover, proud husband and father, we consider Zack to be Fabulously British.
