Dear Rovers North,
I got a kick out seeing this old Land Rover on the street, and thought you might enjoy it, too.

Dear Rovers North,
The 2025 Goldfield Rally of the Arizona Land Rover Owners was a huge success and you helped us put on an incredible event. I’d like to personally thank you for your involvement; you’ve helped keep Arizona Land Rovers one of the best off-road communities in the United States, and for that, we are extremely grateful. Dear Rovers North,
I am the Vice President of the SoCal Rover Club. I’m asking if it’s possible to get additional copies of the Spring 2024 issue with the article on our Rover Rendezvous event in Big Bear. My son’s 50th Anniversary Discovery I with the rooftop tent and my 2004 Discovery II are in the article, too. I would like to be able to give my son a copy if possible. Thanks for all you do!

Dear Rovers North,
My wife Katie and I joined friends on a trip to Iceland. We rented a Defender and toured the southwest region of the country. Iceland offered amazing sights and experiences — but so, too, did the Defender!

Dear Rovers North,
It was a pleasure to connect at the Lowcountry Series in Charleston, NC, and share the history of my Series IIA. I wanted to provide photographic proof of the “before” and “after.”

Dear Rovers North,
I was reading the last issue of Rovers Magazine and came across the lovely story of Kraig Mackett’s barn find mission. Really awesome stuff. I was wondering if he’s found homes for all the Landys, and if not, could I potentially persuade him into letting me be the next steward of one of his finds. A drunk driver recently totaled our Austin Mini-Cooper, and as a British car enthusiast, I’m very interested in owning and restoring a proper Series vehicle to join our Discovery I. Could you help me get in touch with him?

Dear Rovers North,
Just got home from Spring Break with my kids and the Spring Issue of Rovers Magazine was waiting for me. I’m looking forward to the 50th Anniversary Mid Atlantic Rally — hope they do something special!

Dear Rovers North,
While traveling in Italy, My wife and I spotted this Defender in Milan on a closed, pedestrian-only street with lots of high-end shops. There was another stationed at the other end, too. Two guards, each with automatic rifles, stood beside their Defenders. I walked up to them and said in English, “Defender. Turbo Diesel 300 Tdi. I work for a Land Rover parts specialist. Can I take a photograph?” They laughed and said, “Defender, of course, but not us.” We all smiled at the huge oil drip pan beneath the front end; they travel with those pans. The very cool guards all said their Defenders just keep going and going over everything — except the drip pans.
